12:03 am - Hell's Flower hits 50 She'd been sitting at 49 for a while, but tonight I did an ITF with @xeaon and dinged 50 in the second mission right after finishing off an ambush. Behind the cut is the screenshot I remembered to take a couple seconds late.

09:43 pm - Crimson Daze hits 50 I forgot to post this earlier, but while on an ITF, Crimson Daze hit the big ding. Sadly I was a bit busy breaking line of sight with Romulus as he died (he's who I leveled on), so this screenshot is from about five seconds later, after he'd rezzed himself.
Hidden behind the cut for dial-up user's convenience. And also because that lets me put the whole huge 700k image here instead of a tiny little thumbnail. :p

05:17 am - Mmm. How to know you're invincible in CoH:
Your brute currently has 90% resists to everything but Psi damage. 70% defense to everything but Psi damage. Oh and you're Willpower, so you're not really vulnerable to Psi damage anyway naturally. +90% damage from stacked assault. +180% damage from Fury. ...and +10% to-hit.

09:34 pm - Ah to be a developer There was a mission. Players loved it. It made it into the Hall of Fame in the AE, which means that had over 1k votes, with enough 5's that its average vote was something over 4.0. The devs deemed it to be evil bad wrong and deleted it.
Not listening to what your customers want is a good way to do business in the long term.

08:27 pm - After discussing with others... I've tweaked Thermal Antipode's build a little bit from the last post. Losing the Regenerative Tissues global was a hard choice, but it lets me get almost perma-Surveillance and Aim to recharge a lot faster. With Blaster HP I probably won't notice the bit of regen I lose by doing this. I'm pretty pleased with it, all in all. It uses a lot of cheaper things. The end drain ain't so bad, and with Hover turned on I get 39.9% Ranged Defense. Of course the real numbers once I compromise a little to get things that are available as opposed to perfect will nerf that a little, but it should be pretty great. 39.9% ranged defense and 24.4% Smashing/Lethal resist should make it a very survivable blaster, and with 2.4 net recovery, it should be able to blast things into little tiny pieces. And if it can't? Well it has two holds and an AoE sleep to get away.

06:09 pm - Bling Blings Just gave away something silly like 250 million worth of stuff in CoV so someone could get closer to complete on their brute's build. The player is pretty cool and has helped me with lots of stuff, so I was pretty happy to help with that.
But part of me is going "YOU IDIOT, YOUR MM NEEDED THAT Luck of the Gambler +Recharge piece!"
